Incredible! Mother lion risked her life frantically fighting the death crocodile to her last breath to protect her cubs

 A wildlife photographer has captured these amazing images when a slender lioness plunges into the water to attack crocodiles to protect her herd across a river in Botswana, South Africa.

When the lions crossed the river to reach the other side, the crocodile tried to attack the cubs in the group. For crocodiles, which are very territorial, even adult lions can become the object of attack.

When she realized that the crocodile was intending to attack her herd, the cubs were in danger, the lioness ventured into the water and used her front legs to grab the crocodile’s snout.
